Key Responsibilities:
  • Zone the department to maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure freshness and quality
  • Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer needs
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning procedures
  • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
  • Ensure the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Stock merchandise, pick, downstock if applicable, and apply product protection when required
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Meet the basic qualifications outlined by Walmart Canada
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures li>Excellent communication and customer service skills
