IT Procurement Specialist

The IT Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply chain to meet the IT needs of SE Health. This position ensures that all hardware, peripherals, and software are managed efficiently across the Saint Elizabeth Health Care umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Orders: Assist in creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy of information. Track the deployment of goods and services to intended users.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships by maintaining communication, addressing issues, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Asset Management: Track inventory and movements of all equipment, ensuring compliance with IT procurement and organization policies. Maintain the asset database and monitor expiring software licenses, warranties, and end-of-life equipment.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional IT teams, Finance, and department leads to ensure smooth procurement and deployment operations.
  • Support: Provide administrative and analytical support to senior procurement staff in vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and procurement projects. Collect and analyze data related to procurement activities, including vendor performance, cost, and delivery timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Familiarity with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
