**Job Title: Sessional Lecturer**

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly qualified Sessional Lecturer to deliver a course in a technology-enhanced learning environment, utilizing laptop computers and wireless connectivity.

**Job Description:**

In a technology-enhanced learning environment, the Sessional Lecturer will deliver a course using a laptop computer and wireless connectivity. The successful candidate will prepare, deliver, and grade all course material and assignments, and be available for consultation with students during and following completion of the course session.

This position falls within the bargaining unit represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and will be subject to the terms and conditions of the collective agreement between the University and PSAC. The successful candidate will be required to certify that they are currently legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the contract.

**Qualifications:**

* A Master's Degree or a PhD in a relevant field of study is required.
* Specialist Qualifications in an OBHR program are an asset.
* A proven commitment to providing innovative and inclusive teaching strategies.
* Evidence of an ability to work in a collaborative environment.
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to maintain effective relationships with a range of faculty, staff, and students.
* Comfortable use of a Learning Management System (e.g. WebCT, Blackboard).
* Management of large classes and diverse populations.
* Coordinating Teaching Assistants if required.

**Responsibilities:**

* Deliver a course in a technology-enhanced learning environment.
* Prepare, deliver, and grade all course material and assignments.
* Be available for consultation with students during and following completion of the course session.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate students in an OBHR program.
