About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As an RPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in senior living homes in Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Identify resident needs and develop and maintain appropriate care plans.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of resident care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.
