Join us as Special Tools & Bench Test Equipment Engineer, and you'll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.

From general instructions, you will be responsible for the follow-up of all Customer deliverables related to special maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment of a project, from design to delivery. You must make sure that all deliverables are submitted on time and meet the Customer requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyze the Customer technical specification to extract the specific special tools and diagnostic equipment requirements; Evaluate the Suppliers technical proposals; Analyze technical packages submitted from the Suppliers and approves technical documents such as drawings et technical descriptions; Participate to the design reviews with the Suppliers and Customer; Follow up on the delivery of the equipment; Attend the equipment installation and commissioning at the Customer Plans and follows up technical activities; Approve the test procedures to validate the design of the equipment under your responsibility; Attend the qualification tests of this equipment at Suppliers; Design of Maintenance Diagnostic Equipment Undertake any other relevant duties related to its functions

As our ideal candidate:

You will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent. 3 to 15 years if relevant experience You will be Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec Any completion of a mechanical technique at college would be an asset; If you have knowledge in the railway field would be an asset; You will have knowledge in testing electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; You will be able to design maintenance tools using 3D Design software preferably Catia (is an asset); Be autonomous and demonstrate leadership.
