Tank farm labourer

GFL is looking for Labourers (Tank Farm Technicians) for our Napanee, Ottawa location.

Must be able to work evening shift from 4pm-12:30am (training period will alternate between day and evening shifts). There is an on-call requirement every 3 weeks from Monday to the following Monday of that week.

Job Responsibilities:
Variety of in-shop work;

General House Keeping and Facility Maintenance;

Receiving/Organizing/Processing incoming and outgoing loads;

Dip and sample of the bulk tanks;

Pumping of containers (drums & totes);

Sampling, dumping and decontamination of trucks;

Tank cleaning;

Assisting in Water Treatment processes;

Entering Confined Spaces;

Working Indoors and Outdoors, in all weather conditions;

Manual/physical labour and repetitive tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
Professional and positive attitude;

Motivation to ensure timelines and expectations are met;

Strong regard for safety and safe work practices;

Forklift experience an asset, willing to train;

G class driver's licence in good standing with a clean driver's abstract (an asset).

Must be clean shaven in order to wear a mask
