Join our team as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada and develop your skills in the retail industry. As a customer service champion, you will contribute to the high-volume, fast-paced flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Assist customers by promoting products, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions
- Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate
- Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up product displays
- Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and maintain a safe work environment
- Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork
- Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required
- Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock as needed, and apply product protection when required
