Job Responsibilities

Senior Salesforce Developer performs day-to-day development activities on the platform using Apex and Visual Force
Support the creation of customizations and integrations required for solution delivery
Configure the application based on the business requirements
Develop custom applications using Apex, VisualForce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
Apply best practices and experience to build applications.
Develop estimates for projects
Work closely with other developers in the team, business analysts, QA analysts, and project managers.
Research capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis
Create actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements
Assist with scoping and planning of various CRM-related projects and initiatives
Develop and maintain SFDC Visual Force pages, Apex classes & triggers, and integrations
Perform routine administration functions for
Create documentation, including training documentation and release notes
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues
Support the branch in developing and implementing the technical solutions needed as well as providing operational support ensuring that any technical glitch can be quickly addressed
Design technical solutions for data collecting and storing in our centralized data repository
Develop, test, and implement the required technical solutions as well as ensure that the requirements in terms of data accuracy, and quality are met
Develop coding, testing, and debugging to support centralization and standardization of data entry to achieve expediated public health case and contact initiation along with reporting and timely analytics
Produce design artifacts and documentation that will allow future support of the implemented solutions

Provide subject matter expertise to develop, test, support, and maintain reports and transform and present data to support analytics
Provide and support the Covid-19 Vaccine Management Solution business model to enable self-service reports which is a critical functionality for PHUs and other stakeholders

Conduct technical analysis, preparation of detailed programming specifications, program design, writing and/or generating code, and conduct unit tests
Translate technical specifications for integration/sustainment and upgrade into working, tested application code
Undertake proof of technology with test data to simulate application load and performance tuning-related applications
Conduct research and assessment of options for technical design issues
Contribute to design/development project plans, including work breakdown and resource estimates
Provide technical expertise and advice for the integration of the provincial Immunization Repository and the Covid-19 Vaccine Management Solution
Participate in the planning, technical analysis, and design of solutions in support of infectious disease public health activities, including infectious disease case, contact, and outbreak investigation and management, immunization administration, and vaccine distribution and delivery (inventory)
Resolving and implementing critical fixes and changes in COVID-19 vaccine Management Solutions as per defects found by businesses and as per COVID-19 reports critical changes
Provide application programming support for incident management, application functionality sustainment, performance tuning, and technical documentation
Work with Quality Assurance (QA) to code, test, and debug extensions/tools integration services
Perform performance tuning as well as audit and ad hoc reporting per business requests
Senior Salesforce Developer provides software expertise in various computing platforms, operating systems, database technology, communication protocols, middleware, and gateways
Maintain Development environments and continue Continuous Integration (CI) practice
Improve the quality and accuracy of the data collected for the approximately 34 PHUs and 2282 PHU users
Ensure the availability of the Covid-19 Vaccine Management tools and solutions for use by all Ontarians.

Must Haves:
8+years of full-cycle software development including requirements, design, development, optimization, testing, implementation, and support
5+ years of development experience on the Salesforce platform; Salesforce Development with Lightning Experience
Service Cloud /Sales/Health Cloud knowledge
Heavy understanding of Object Models, features, and functionality of Salesforce configurations

Knowledge of Process Builder, Workflow rules, Approval process, Assignment rules, and Profiles and Roles in Salesforce
Certified Salesforce Developer Strong knowledge of CRM business impact
Deep understating of the Salesforce data-sharing Model
Strong experience in Apex coding, Lightning components/Aura framework, Java Script
Implementing test classes for the written code
Inbound and Outbound integration with Salesforce platform, Knowledge of MuleSoft
Maintaining Salesforce best practices
Expertise at working with Salesforce governor limits, Dealing with Lage scale data
Utilization of Continuation integration using Jenkins, Copado, or equivalent tool
Experience in GIT repository
Experience in Salesforce Data Loader
