You will work in a team that serves thousands of guests daily, ensuring a high-quality experience for visitors. Your role will involve cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils, as well as maintaining the kitchen and work areas in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils based on procedures and assigned equipment
  • Polishing silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth based on procedures and assigned equipment
  • Maintaining the dish and kitchen area, ensuring equipment is clean, in working condition, and complies with safety standards
  • Washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
  • Removing trash and placing it in designated containers, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans
  • Assisting in loading, unloading, and transferring supplies, products, and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required
  • Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
