Seeking: someone who is kind, engaging, and playful to provide age-appropriate activities and care for 13 months old.

Hours: 8:30am - 2:30pm
Days: Monday - Thursday (Fridays start in September)
Pay: $22-25/hour with payroll
Start date: 1 August 2024, with gradual transition in early June or late July. We are away from Vancouver June 15-July 20. We will pay for occasional hours during the transition period before the official start date.

Hours will increase if one parent is away for work travel, usually 3-4 days.

Seeking: someone who is kind, engaging, and playful to provide age-appropriate activities and care. This can include going to the park/playground, library, or daily walks.

Must have: at least 3 years experience in early childhood education or providing childcare. CPR certification, criminal background check, vulnerable sector check, references.

Nice to have: resume, ability to provide light meal preparation. French or Vietnamese language skills.

About child: kind, funny, active toddler. Will be 12 months in July. Primary language is Vietnamese and French but also understands English.

About us: father is native French speaker, works in tech startup, occasionally works from home. Mother is native Vietnamese speaker, works from home in human rights field.

About the home: we are located in Davie Village of downtown Vancouver, near Nelson Park. We are within walking distance of Burrard and Yaletown skytrain station
