Junior Cash Analyst

The Junior Cash Analyst is responsible for performing the reconciliations of all aggregator, deposits and coin order GL accounts each period. The role involves communication and follow-up with Operational managers on a regular basis.

What you bring to the role:

• Accounting diploma, business degree or a minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• An understand of accounting principles, and the cash flow cycle
• Strong knowledge and capabilities in spreadsheets
• Good at problem solving
• Enjoys a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Good communication skills
  

What you will do:

• Prepare cash reconciliations for all stores each period
• Prepare account reconciliation for Change Order Clearing GLs
• Ensure cash controls and processes are followed
• Prepare notes on cash overages & shortages for each period end, for all stores over the allowed threshold
• Reconcile and post bank transactions in Sage 300 for all aggregators
• Communicate with other roles in Finance and Operations to report discrepancies found during the deposit reconciliations
• Provide actual deposit amounts to Finance and Loss Prevention when requested to be used for validating sales and investigating discrepancies
• Other duties and projects as assigned by Treasury Analyst
