Security Guard

Main Duties:

Conduct regular foot patrols of the entire premises as well as monitoring front entrance and cameras
Secure all exits
Respond to alarms and noise complaints
Interact with guests, employees and members of the public to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.
Document a nightly report on activities through the night
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience
Valid BC Security Worker's License with Security Guard endorsement
Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for a majority of an 8-hour shift.
Experience or can demonstrate to have a keen eye for watching and reporting irregularities
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Utilizing technology including writing reports, tracking patrols in a smart phone and communicating via two-way radio.
Integrity, eagerness, and willingness to make solid decisions
