We are looking for a shipper receiver to join a leader in the food manufacturing and distribution industry in Waterloo Located on a bus route and available on the afternoon shift, this is the perfect opportunity for candidates looking for a long term opportunity and looking to start a career in the light industrial field In this position you would be responsible for receiving/loading products to and from the truck, keeping accurate inventory, operation of pallet trucks, electric walkies and a reach truck, and labelling products.

Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50lbs repetitively as well as working in a cooler environment with meat.

There is a great starting wage of $23.75/hr with consistent increases

Responsibilities

  • Receiving/loading products to and from the truck
  • Keeping accurate inventory
  • Operation of pallet trucks, electric walkies and a reach truck,
  • Labelling products
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 1 to 2 years previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment
Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively
  • Must be comfortable working in a cold environment with meat products
  • Safetyoriented
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to occasionally work overtime
