Engineering Technician

Join our team as an Engineering Technician and play a key role in shaping the future of our city's infrastructure.
**About the Role:**
- Assist the engineering department with infrastructure development, designs, record keeping, and project coordination.
- Provide technical guidance, oversight, and support to ensure infrastructure meets city standards.
- Plan, design, coordinate, and inspect work being completed by city operational staff, contractors, and developers.
- Administer the city's Cross Connection Control Program and other initiatives of similar nature.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Reporting to the Manager of Engineering and Infrastructure, you will be a key member of the Engineering Department.
- Utilize a diverse set of technical skills to ensure all infrastructure records are kept up to date.
**Qualifications:**
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in a related position with a focus on municipal infrastructure design and inspection.
