Meat Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Meat Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Meat Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations.
- Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Taking orders for Deli Department merchandise, slicing and preparing merchandise, and providing requested assistance.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Preparing deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizing slicers, stackers, and other utensils.
- Following Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
