Operations Assistant (Level 2) Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant (Level 2) to join our team at G3 Prairie West. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of grain throughout our elevators and terminals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Operate grain cleaning equipment to achieve optimal shipping specifications and accuracy
* Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Senior Operations Assistants to plan and coordinate binning, receiving, and shipping operations
* Receive and handle grain shipments by truck and/or rail, including weighing and documentation
* Sample grain to assess quality using grain cleaning equipment
* Bin and transfer grain with minimal supervision
* Ship grain, including handling rail cars and locomotives
* Provide exceptional customer service to farmers and commercial truckers
* Ensure compliance with corporate environment, health, and safety policies and best practices
* Comply with environmental standards and industry regulatory requirements
* Operate Terminal control systems (for all provinces excluding Quebec)
* Ensure physical facilities are clean, efficient, and well-maintained

**Professional Qualifications & Experience:**

* 1-2 years of experience in elevator and/or terminal operations
* Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
* Level 2 grading or ability to achieve within 6 months
