Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Restock and merchandise bakery products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process customer transactions and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or bakery environment an asset.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
