Lube Truck Technician

Gulf Operators Ltd. is a civil contractor specializing in various civil work such as concrete work, excavation, water and sewer systems, and aggregate production and sales.

Join our team at Gulf Operators Ltd. to experience a dynamic work environment with a wide array of projects in industrial, commercial, infrastructure, and residential sectors.

We are currently looking for a Lube Truck Technician to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of Gulf fleet including greasing equipment, oil sampling and changes, inspections, and small mechanical repairs.
  • Completion of paperwork and documentation
  • Collaboration with supervisors, customers, and fellow mechanics
  • Support for onsite safety requirements
  • Safe operation and maintenance of the company's mobile service unit

Required Competencies:

  • Experienced Lube Tech or Block 1-2 mechanic willing to undergo further training
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with air brakes and clean drivers abstract; class 3 license preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Heavy Equipment and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong dedication to safety
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Technological proficiency (Computer, Smartphones, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team setting
  • Flexibility to handle shifting priorities and multiple tasks
  • Customer-oriented and able to collaborate with all management levels
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Adept at meeting tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, nights, and overtime as needed
