**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant - Specimen Collector to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process specimens for analysis, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including specimen collection and processing data.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen collection and processing operations.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Medical Laboratory Assistant - Applied certificate
  • Intermediate - Data entry skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license, where required
