Job Title: R&D Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Software Engineer to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our Electronics Circuit-UI group, you will be responsible for developing innovative graphical user interfaces and design automation flows that drive our industry-leading electromagnetic field solvers at an unprecedented scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain software components using C++ and related languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate problems and develop solutions.
  • Develop and debug user interface code on Windows and/or Linux.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of professional experience.
  • Significant software development experience using C++ or related language.
  • Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of computational geometry and computer graphics.
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic, circuit, or system simulation.
  • Familiarity with electronic design automation systems and practices.
