Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Stockroom Organization: Develop and maintain efficient stockroom systems, ensuring easy access to products and minimizing stockroom clutter.
- Shipping and Receiving: Verify accuracy of incoming shipments, process returns, and coordinate the shipment of customer purchases and store transfers.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including purchase orders, shortages, and overages.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist with visual displays and window changes, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked sales floor.
- Store Supplies: Maintain adequate stock levels of store supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
- Experience: Prior experience in a retail stockroom or inventory management role is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in computer software and systems, with ability to learn new systems quickly.
