JBS Food Canada ULC is one of Canada's largest beef processors, with four locations across the country. Our team of high-achieving employees is our greatest asset, and we're seeking a Quality Control Technician to join us at our Belleville facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Familiarizing themselves with product specifications and standard manufacturing instructions
  • Monitoring production to ensure adherence to product specifications
  • Assisting in the development of effective training and feedback systems
  • Identifying controllable and non-controllable variables that influence product quality
  • Performing regular quality audits and product quality checks
  • Ensuring accurate Bill of Materials through routine audits
  • Troubleshooting yield or quantity issues through analysis and observation
  • Creating yield claims to outside customers using prescribed methods

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to work in a team setting or independently with minimal supervision
  • The ability to physically move loads of raw material (involving receiving and lifting heavy items)
  • Proficiency with computers and tablets
  • The ability to cooperate with contractors

Work will take place in a cold/refrigerated environment.
