Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Carry out Avionics repairs and maintenance on Company Aircraft under supervision of the Senior Base Engineer or Base Engineer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out aircraft and base tasks, as they are assigned by the authorized signatory under whose guidance he works;
- Maintain AMO facilities as directed and carry out any other delegated tasks;
- All other tasks as directed by the Base/Senior Base Engineer.
- Carry out any other tasks necessary and required by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Aircraft Avionics Engineer college diploma or equivalent;
- Knowledge of Air Inuit Maintenance and policies is an asset;
- General knowledge of Air Inuit's Fleet;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver's permit;
- Must be available to travel to northern bases when required;
- Must be available to work day/night shifts when required
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work location - Air Inuit Technical Center - Montreal-Trudeau airport;
- Modified Work schedule: 5-5-4

COMPENSATION
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
- Hourly wage starting at $23.46
