Job Title: Meat Stocker

A Meat Stocker is responsible for maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing department, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Zones the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and customer flow.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
  • Adheres to cold chain compliance, food handling, and product rotation policies to ensure customer safety.
  • Takes orders for deli department merchandise and prepares items such as sliced meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and food preparation.
  • Prepares deli food orders, including meat, cheese, and salads, using slicers, stackers, and other utensils.
  • Follows health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
