Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Valet Parking Attendant to join our team at The Westin Ottawa. As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of vehicle traffic on property. This includes directing personal and commercial vehicle traffic, monitoring and maintaining safety and security of parking areas, and communicating parking procedures to guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and monitor vehicle traffic on property to ensure a smooth and efficient flow
- Monitor and maintain safety and security of parking areas, reporting any hazards or potential security problems to management
- Communicate parking procedures to guests, including directions and information about property amenities and services
- Supply guests with directions and information about local areas of interest and activities
- Assist guests with disabilities and provide exceptional customer service
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- No related work experience or supervisory experience required
