Department Overview
The Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) Group is TD Wealth's content centre of excellence,
responsible for developing editorial and strategic content that highlights the depth and breadth
of TD Wealth expertise and showcases our thought leadership to TD clients and the world. The
team is comprised of talented content professionals who bring together their editorial,
production, creative and technical expertise to create industry-leading financial content across
digital and broadcast streams. SEC properties include: MoneyTalk "Brought to you by TD,"
available at and distributed across multiple TD ecosystems, MoneyTalk
Live, streamed daily through TD WebBroker, and MoneyTalk on BNN Bloomberg, broadcast
weekly on CTV properties, as well as live and original programming on multiple radio stations
and various social channels each week.

Job Description
In this role, you will be part of the Creative Services reporting to the Creative Director. You will work closely with our video producers to support multiple shows, live, live-to-tape, or pre-taped related to financial and investment news productions in both in-studio control room and remote environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Be able to shoot and edit under tight timelines (with a variety of cameras + Adobe-based post-production)

• Technical direction and execution of live and pre-recorded Financial News productions + operate multiple control room cameras for live and not live video shoots (VizRT, NDI control room)

• Publish to client-facing digital publishing platform (Word Press-based CMS)

• Maintain best-in-class in-house video production facility and post-production facilities (setups, maintenance, troubleshooting)

• Continuously enhance knowledge and keep current with emerging strategies, capabilities and/or trends for multimedia solutions.

• Actively work to resolve escalated issues and manage changes within the project

You are:

• Experienced in all areas of a studio control room and creative/technical aspects of show production

• Experienced in floor management, camera placement, presentation, and LED video wall displays

• A multi-tasker and able to deal with intense pressure of a live show

• Comfortable with very tight timelines

• Able to troubleshoot a high tech environment.

• Able to work well with others and as a strong team member

• Able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment

• Able to support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues

• Able to participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team

• Able to deep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities

• Happy to assist others in the completion and performance of work activities;

Core Skills:

• 3+ years of broadcast / newsroom experience (expert knowledge in camera - remote or floor, lighting, jib / ronin )

• Video editing (news, breaking, social) – expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.

• VizRT ecosystem operator (Multiplay, Trio, Vectar, Artist)

• Experience shooting against LED video displays is an asset

• Photography is an asset (creative projects, events, business headshots)

• Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills

• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications
