Job Title: Registered Nurse, Medicine Job Summary:

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, Medicine, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to patients in our acute inpatient areas. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop nursing diagnoses to inform care planning
  • Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in accordance with practice standards
Qualifications:

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
