We are seeking an experienced Technician II - AV to lead large commercial AV installation projects. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with AV systems such as Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, and Extron.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and mentor team members to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Install and service cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices, including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling
  • Install audio/visual equipment, including audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, and presentation systems
  • Interact with customers and prospects to ensure all inquiries are handled professionally
  • Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
  • Complete detailed and accurate paperwork

**Requirements:**

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices
  • 3-5 years' experience installing AV systems, or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, or construction environments
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Certification with Crestron, Polycom, CTS, Extron, and BiAmp is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or equivalent is an asset
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Ability to pass a background check
