Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

  • Title: Security Guard
  • Job Type: Full - Time
  • Par Rate - $17.50 per hour
  • Shift - Continental Rotation 7am - 7pm or 7pm to 7am
  • Location - Emergency Shelters, Mississauga
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Eligible to work FT permanent schedule
  • Shelter experience an asset

Requirement:

· 1-2 years of experience in security.

· Open availability for morning/overnight 12 hour shifts.

. Reliable source of transportation.

· Must have a valid Ontario Security License.

· Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.

· First Aid and CPR.

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

· Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

· Great customer service, ability to enforce rules & protocols, pay attention to detail.

· Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.

· Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

· Coordinating with other team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.

· Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
