Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation: Safely transport customers' vehicles from point of pick up to the branch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Labouring Tasks: Perform labouring tasks that may include depollution, tire dismounting, etc.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate towing activities and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving abstract and CVOR.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of towing laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to operate and maneuver a tow truck safely in various road and weather conditions.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
