We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Clinical Pharmacy Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective drug therapy by participating in and overseeing drug distribution systems, supervising pharmacy support staff, and identifying and resolving drug-related problems.
The successful candidate will provide clinical pharmacy services, including drug regimen review, medication reconciliation, pharmacokinetic monitoring, individual and group patient medication teaching, drug information, and educational programs. You will work closely with the medical team to provide discharge medication calendars and counseling to patients and make therapeutic recommendations.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of drugs and therapeutics, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to make accurate and timely recommendations regarding safe and cost-effective use of drugs. A minimum of two years of experience in clinical practice in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.

HoursThis is a long assignment, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will work approximately 8 months.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $53.24. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
