What will you do?

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Electrical Products (EP) team. As a Senior Financial Analyst – Sales & Pricing , you will be responsible for month end activities, budget, forecast, and various financial analysis. This role will also provide support to the Segment managers, Sales management, and other teams as assigned.

  • Supports and monitors EP sales commissions and bonus programs including preparation of monthly sales reporting
  • Initiates the analysis of financial results related to pricing and regional sales development
  • Works closely with National and Regional Sales management related to financial analysis of strategic sales programs and initiatives
  • Liaises with Pricing team and tracks price realization and pricing program(s) efficacy
  • Monitors internal controls associated with pricing programs and sales incentive programs
  • Supports in the preparation of various financial reports; compiles and reviews variance report on actual vs financial plans and budgets
  • Collects, analyzes, and manages quantitative data and creates meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reduction
  • Initiates and drives process automation/improvements via implementation of data analytics and digitalization programs for EP with a focus on sales productivity
  • Interact and present adhoc analyses to senior management related to strategic initiatives
  • Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems
  • Supports the preparation of financial statements, forecasting and reporting with a focus on order intake and gross margin
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Prepares monthly journal entries, as required
  • Ad-hoc requests and special projects, as required

What will you need to succeed?

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Professional accreditation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) completed or in progress is highly preferred
  • 5-7 years of successful experience in financial analysis and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
  • Ability to manage relationships at all levels. Able to integrate and work within a multicultural group environment
  • Growth mindset, highly resilient and can work well in fast-paced environments
  • Experience managing large amounts of dynamic data and creating meaningful reports
  • Demonstrate a good grasp of knowledge and principles of accounting and apply through successful completion of assignments
  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting
  • SAP knowledge and experience required
  • Programming, data analytics or Tableau/Knime experience is an asset
  • Strong skills in MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-PowerPoint
