The Team:

Our Ratings Technology Services and Technology Strategy Governance team enables a culture & mindset of Customer-First with a focus on delivering value through disciplined program delivery. Continuing to improve our User experience and stability of systems, employee productivity, innovation & overall employee engagement.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Collaborating with teammates during technical designs and planning
  • Learn and adopt SAFE software development practices as part of our SDLC
  • Build, monitor, and maintain data ETL pipelines
  • Use Scala, Java, or Python to utilize Hadoop/Spark to collect and manage data at scale
  • Use Java and React/Angular to build web applications
  • Learn and leverage various cloud and data lake technologies and tools to enhance and maintain our overall infrastructure
  • Participate in team test coverage reviews and trainings
  • Demo completed work to stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelors degree in a technical field of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or IT
  • Fully matriculated students with anticipated graduation date in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025
  • Demonstrated passion or interest in one or more of our key industries )
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques, and technologies

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Python, Java, React and Databricks
