Hourly Wage: $22-$29

BASF's Agricultural Solutions division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Canola Seed Production Research Summer Associate to join our team in Lethbridge, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct plot and field-scale trials for the Certified Seed Supply team.
  • Participate in programs evaluating innovative seed canola production methods.
  • Manage and collect data from multiple sites in Southern Alberta, including agronomic practices such as planting, spraying, crop synchronization, mowing, harvesting, and sample processing.

Requirements:

  • Above-average communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Experience with farm equipment (highly desired).
  • Agronomic knowledge and experience in the agriculture or farming industry.
