Job Summary:

Our hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while promoting a patient-centered approach and adhering to our hospital's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or eligibility for registration.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
