The Site Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring superior quality of our equipment's installation by following installation manuals, standards, and rigorous processes. This role is a mix of working in the site office documenting the work and working directly on the site to ensure work is performed as expected.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain the Andritz Quality Assurance System on site.
- Ensure quality requirements are followed at site according to Installation Manuals.
- Local contact with customer and authorities for all quality matters.
- Inspections follow-up according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Reception of material at site with inventory database and tracking system.
- Perform and/or witness inspections in coordination with customer and site team.
- Initiate and follow-up on non-conformities.
- Collect quality records and elaborate final quality documentation.
- Collaborate with Installation Supervisors to ensure work is performed in compliance with Installation Manuals requirements.
- Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience.
- Passion for Quality and integrity.
- General knowledge on mechanical measurement devices.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD an asset.
- Practical knowledge of 3D measuring equipment, an asset.
- On site Safety training an asset.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Self-driven, resourceful, rigorous.
- Ability to analyze data.
- Willingness to travel and flexible with work schedule.
