About Us:
The Village of Cumberland is seeking a dynamic and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team.

As a key contributor to the Village's successes, the Financial Analyst will thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, and progressive work environment.

This position plays a key role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in achieving the Village's financial objectives.

Responsibilities:


As a valued member of our collaborative team, the Financial Analyst will deliver a range of financial services, including expertise in financial planning and reporting, year-end activities, the preparation of financial statements, analysis of the general ledger, and the preparation of grant applications and claims.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Analyst ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting practices, standards and the Village's policies and bylaws.

The ideal candidate possesses a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) and five years of recent related experience, in strategic financial planning, reporting, financial analysis and accounting.

A combination of experience and education may be considered for a candidate actively enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program.
