Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Cadham Provincial Laboratory. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical duties in all sub-sections of the laboratory on a rotation basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations and provide excellent patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.
  • Current registration or eligible for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required.
  • Knowledge of laboratory technique and theory essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
