As a Nurse Practitioner at BC Children's Hospital, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including diagnosing and treating complex health conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Diagnose and treat complex health conditions, including undifferentiated diseases, illnesses, and conditions
* Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering diagnostic investigations and interpreting reports
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Provide education and support to patients and families on health findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
* Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient care and nursing practice
* Supervise and mentor other nursing and healthcare personnel as required
**Requirements:**
* Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
* Minimum of 4 years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
* Ability to perform the full scope of Nurse Practitioner duties and responsibilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting
