We're seeking a skilled Health Services Manager to join our team at Dartmouth General Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating services and daily operations of people-centered programs.

About the Opportunity
  • Manage and coordinate services and daily operations of people-centered programs
  • Design and redesign initiatives related to improvement activities in the department
  • Provide leadership to engage the interdisciplinary team to address key clinical practices and utilization management
  • Knowledge of data information management systems is essential in reporting indicators and outcome measurements
About You
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
  • Masters in Nursing, Health Services Administration or Business Administration is preferred
  • Must be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing or eligible for registration
  • BCLS certification according to minimal organizational standards
  • Five to seven years clinical experience
  • Previous leadership/management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in initiating and managing multiple projects
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines and committees to achieve excellence in patient care
  • Demonstrated fiscal and human resource management
  • Requires a high level of sound judgement, initiative, and self-direction
  • Capable of analytical and creative decision making
  • Demonstrates high degrees of independent decision making, self-direction, motivation, change management knowledge and team building/leadership skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours
  • Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits

$60.39 Hourly
