The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

1. Troubleshoot process problems and initiative and/or participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and quality improvements.
2. Participate in proposal planning for continuous improvement projects. Support in the development of work cell and/or department standardized work instructions/procedures.
3. Support in setting up predictive and preventative maintenance programs for required equipment.
4. Design/Implement changes to work cell layouts using AutoCAD for all departments.
5. Perform work cell assessments with focus on process flow, standardization, ergonomics and 5S. Document the current state and make improvements by adding detailed work instructions, including audio / video demonstration
6. Perform, direct, and carry out all other assignments from time to time as management directs.

• Electro-Mechanical/Robotics/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering student at an accredited College or University
• Manufacturing experience, preferred
• Certified Electrician, an asset
• Vision system experience, an asset
