City Homemakers Service society is currently seeking applications for the position of LPN Supervisor. Under the direct supervision of the Agency Executive Director, the LPN supervisor in cooperation with the RN Supervisors must ensure the care and services provided by the Home support Workers is maintained in accordance with Standards for Quality Service outlined by Home Care Nova Scotia. This is a full time management position.

Requirements

LPN (current registration with the CLPNNS) with community related experience

Current First Aid/CPR certificate

Completion of Alzheimer's course

Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

Management/superisory experience in a unionized environment

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others

Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organization and prioritization skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks

Ability to work flexile hours (some evenings and weekends) and take on call duties on a rotational basis

Strong computer skills-experiece of Alayacare software would be an asset

Knowledge of the Home Care Nova Scotia Program
