Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients to encourage optimum level of functioning.
  • Support clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with light housekeeping.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
Requirements
  • Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Food Safe certificate, where required
  • Valid driver's license, where required
Working Conditions

This is a community-based position providing services in clinic and home settings. Travel is required to various community sites within Primary Health Care (Regina), including rural areas.
