Residential Manager

The Resident Manager reports to the HR Director/OEHS Board and is responsible for ensuring the employees experience for this residence aligns with a caring and supportive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Human Resources (Spirit Ridge and Watermark) for new employees' arrival date and time.Facilitate all employee check-ins
Administrate inspections of units and showcase all employee housing units
Handle all employee housing concerns and inquiries
Manage any emergency situations that may arise
Inspect units upon staff check-outs ensuring no damage to the unit. Relay information back to appropriate HR person for damage deposit information
Clean bedrooms, washrooms and kitchen for next employee arrival
Ensure that all in-house rules and regulations are communicated to employees and implemented. Prepare and deliver written warnings for infractions/rules violated
Act as a security person should there be complaints from any residents in the orchard house
Assist with property enhancement projects (i.e. new BBQ stations)
Maintain yard and assist with minor repairs and painting
Oversee any 3rd party repair or maintenance companies contracted to conduct work
Manage any recycling for the property that can be implemented or continued with
Maintain a flexible schedule with availability on evenings, weekends and holidays
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Property Management experience an asset. Open to a couple for this role.
Physically able to perform the demands of the role, including but not limited to lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
A current/valid BC Driver's License
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with people tactfully, diplomatically and sensitively
Access to own vehicle is preferred (company will provide mileage expense)
