Seeking a part-time regular RN to administer hemodialysis and plasmapheresis treatments using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Under the direction of the manager of nursing, the RN will be responsible for administering hemodialysis and plasmapheresis treatments using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The RN will work in a hemodialysis specialty day and night care department at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The RN will be responsible for:

  • Administering hemodialysis and plasmapheresis treatments
  • Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Implementing and evaluating care plans

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Care of the Patient with Kidney Disease training
  • Nephrology nursing certificate preferred
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

The RN will work 10 shifts of 10.1 hours per 4 weeks, with no relief, float, or field hours.

The salary for this position is Pay Band Nurse A, $38.580 to $50.070.
