About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled and reliable Mover/Labourer to join our team. As a Mover/Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of the facility. You will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Performing regular maintenance on the facility, including changing light bulbs, carpentry, painting, minor drywall repair, minor plumbing, and tile repair
  • Repairing interior walls, installing drywall for repair or replacement
  • Inspecting the facility and other structures to detect malfunctions, furniture maintenance, and conducting repairs accordingly
  • Performing ad-hoc duties such as window and door repairs, mounting curtain poles, track, and fixture shelves
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Excellent communicator with strong English language skills
  • Physically able to carry out the duties of this position
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and extensive walking around the facility
  • Ability to operate related equipment such as manual or electric tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as get along with others
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Aware of and trained on the safe use of equipment, site safety practices, fire prevention, and work regulations
