Description
Responsibilities:
- Teach English to K-12 students with an average class size of 6-8 students.
- Assist ESL students in developing strong language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation etc.
- Organize the lesson according to the various student needs and set learning objectives.
- Provide guidance and scaffolding in listening/reading comprehension and written /oral expression.
- Create an interactive and dynamic teaching environment to promote learning.
Requirement:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or English or in related fields.
- Having teaching certificate is preferred.
Experience:
- Having at least 2 years of primary or secondary school or online class teaching experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of the current K-12 ELL/ESL curriculum.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
- Strong classroom management and teaching techniques.
Others:
- Preferred having a reliable vehicle and be able to commute between home and the teaching centre.
- Must be available to teach in-person from the centre location. Weekend schedule is needed since most courses will be at weekend.
