If you're a passionate rock and alternative music lover who enjoys engaging with listeners via social media, texts, and calls, 104.9 the WOLF has a fantastic opening for you as our new Afternoon Host/Network Host & Music Assistant. Come join our top-notch rock station team and be part of the excitement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver an engaging & entertaining program from 2-6 pm, Monday-Friday
- Host a network show across multiple markets
- Appear at station events and remotes as needed
- Update daily web content and social media
- Participate in on-air promotions
- Collaborate on music libraries maintenance
- Assist with daily logs editing and export
- Ensure station compliance with CanCon requirements
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Dedication to superior show prep
- Proficiency in social media and digital content management
- Creative thinking abilities
- Experience with MusicMaster, SoCast, RadioPromoHub, and Futuri (an asset)
- Proficient in Wide Orbit and Adobe Audition
- Self-motivated individual
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of on-air experience
- Team player with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and current drivers' abstract
