Food & Beverage Junior Server

Summary:

The Junior Server is responsible for assisting servers in delivering the dining experience in the restaurant. This is a great position for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of the Food & Beverage industry but doesn't quite have the experience yet. The junior server's watchful presence ensures that guest needs are taken care of when the server is away. The restaurant and pool bar are clean, sanitized and organized because the junior derver has a passionate hate for dirt and mess. Bussing tables, expediting food and assisting the host with table setups keeps the junior servers very busy in this physical job. In addition to the restaurant and running food to the pool, the junior servers are also called upon to assist with serving during banquet functions when they arise.

Responsibilities:

Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
Clean, sanitize and organize food and beverage areas.
Assist in running food to guests and bus tables.
Demonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience both in the restaurant and banquet areas.
Efficiently complete prep and side work to enable focused guest care and maintain an orderly, clean station during banquet events
Following all safety and sanitation policies
Actively seek and out and destroy dirt on the restaurant floor.
Able to assist in the restaurant, pool bar and banquet floor.
