Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated diseases, illnesses, and conditions within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Prescribe medications and provide first-line care in emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient care and nursing practice.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Minimum of 4 years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
